UPDATE, October 27, 2022: Liverpool ONE's The Club House has made a major change to its festive plans, with the cancellation of its much anticipated 'Merry Sperry' tent.
Originally, the popular venue had planned to welcome a vast outdoor tent kitted out with roaring fires, blankets and an abundance of twinkling lights to get people in a festive frame of mind. A spokesperson for The Club House has since confirmed to the ECHO that, "with a heavy heart", the tent has been cancelled.
But it's not all bad news. Guests can still expect a variety of street food, fairy lit walkways, winter furnishings and live music in the Chavasse Park venue, as well as on the terrace during the season, with The Club House team keen to turn the venue into a winter wonderland.

Sperry tents are popular large scale tents that blend the beauty of the great outdoors with all the comforts of indoors. For The Club House, based at Chavasse Park in Liverpool's thriving city centre, its affectionately dubbed 'Merry Sperry' tent will offer Christmas shoppers, tourists and locals alike a "cosy shelter" from the winter weather.
The Club House is a hit venue in the city, known and loved for its stylish yet timeless décor, and its extensive food and drinks menu. There's a decent selection of beers and ales, as well as cocktails, while home comfort food is served all year round.
