Huge London pizza chain to open Trinity Leeds restaurant next week

A hit pizza restaurant with over 30 restaurants in London is set to open in Trinity Leeds next week.

It was announced back in June that Franco Manca would be taking up the spot previously used by Pintura, which closed late last year.

Franco Manca is one of the hottest eateries in the capital, and us Leeds folk are going to get the chance to try their famous sourdough pizza when they open on Tuesday, July 23.

For their opening two weeks every pizza will cost only £5, and Franco Manca has pledged to support local homeless charities and shelters in their opening weeks.

Emiliano Ruzzu, Franco Manca’s Leeds Head Pizzaiolo, said: "We’re thrilled to be opening the doors of our very first Leeds-based pizzeria in just a matter of days!

"The team couldn’t be more excited to bring our delicious sourdough to the city – make sure you pop by in the first two weeks post-launch, as every single one of our pizzas will be just £5.

"During this time, we’ll also be donating one pizza to a local charity or shelter for each one bought, showing support for our new neighbours."

Homeless shelters and foodbanks are encouraged to contact Franco Manca to arrange a collection by emailing donations@francomanca.co.uk
