Huge Italian restaurant to open in Liverpool city centre this weekend

A new Italian restaurant is set to open in Liverpool city centre this weekend.

Capeesh will open its doors inside the iconic Pacific Chambers building on Victoria Street with the aim of bringing a new dining experience to the city. The menu will feature classic pasta and grill dishes as well as Neapolitan style pizzas from a state of the art wood-fired pizza oven.

Capeesh will offer a welcoming, family style of service and the team have expertly crafted the menu using the highest quality, fresh ingredients. Menu highlights include a 24oz ChateauBriand sharing steak and the 'La Tartuf' pizza which will no doubt be a favourite for truffle lovers.

The new restaurant is set over two floors and will seat 150 people, with a wood-fired pizza oven at the centre of the newly-built open kitchen. A private dining room will also be available for a more intimate dining experience.

The Italian renaissance style of the building has been at the forefront of the design and build process. The award-winning North West based firm Four Architects, spear-headed the design to bring the team's vision to life and revive the elements of the 100-year-old building.

Neil Dermott, founder of Four Architects, said: “The Art Deco inspired interior combined with high ceilings and new mezzanine has created a stunning space which will be just the start for Capeesh.”

Capeesh will open this Saturday, July 23. After this, the restaurant will then be open Tuesday to Sunday for lunch and evening dining. For more information or to book, visit http://capeeshrestaurant.com/ .
