A giant igloo will soon descend on a Wallsend pub as the popular haunt plays host to a four-day-long festive party.
They say Christmas is a time to eat, drink and be merry and there will be ample opportunity to do all of that when The Rose Inn put on what they promise will be "the party to end all parties" in the huge heated inflatable igloo.
The festivities get going on Thursday, December 12 with loads of acts lined up to entertain revellers. They include "the world's s number 1" Ed Sheeran tribute - The Ed Sheeran Experience, Newcastle's very own Ariana Grande - Ami Vaziri, as well as Lady Gaga and Blondie tribute acts.
The opening night is for families with kids 14 and over allowed in and the cost of entry being £10 per ticket.
The all-day rock festival on Saturday, December 14 has already sold out, but there are still tickets left for the entertainment on Sunday, December 15 which is being advertised as a 1970s glam rock Christmas party.
Local singer Junior Turner will join Roy Orbison and Shakin' Stevens tributes, alongside Mad Manners and headliners Flarez. Tickets are also £10 for that one.
There will also be music, food and drink to be enjoyed on the Friday. All tickets can be bought from behind the bar at The Rose Inn, Wallsend.
