Huge gigs coming to Liverpool in 2022 to get excited about

It’s safe to say that we’ve missed live music with coronavirus restrictions stopping us from seeing our favourite musicians performing on stage.

With things slowly but surely getting back to normal, the year of 2022 is set to be a big one for Liverpool with many big artists performing here throughout the year.

No matter what genre of music you're into, there are plenty of options to choose from, from Elton John to Stormzy.

We’ve rounded up some of the biggest and best gigs to really look forward to in Liverpool this year, you definitely won't want to miss these.

Stormzy

One of the most highly anticipated tours of the year, Stormzy will be coming to Liverpool this March.

After being rescheduled last year in April due to coronavirus, this is definitely one to look forward to.

Little Mix

Little Mix’s ‘Confetti’ tour will be coming to Liverpool this April where they will perform brand new songs from their new album Confetti.

They’ll also perform some of their greatest hits that we all know and love, such as “Touch” and “Shout Out To My Ex.”

Dua Lipa

Originally due to take place last year in May 2020 is Dua Lipa’s huge arena tour, and she’ll be visiting M&S Bank Arena.

She’ll be performing a stream of hits like ‘New Rules’ and ‘IDGAF’ as well as other hits from her latest album Future Nostalgia.

Eagles

The legendary Eagles are coming to Anfield this year!

As part of their 50 Years Tour they’ll be coming to Liverpool with special guest Little Big Town to play all the classics.

Elton John

Sir Elton John will also be coming to Anfield this year as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road final tour.

Have one last singalong with Elton to all of his greatest hits and enjoy an incredible atmosphere to match.

Gary Numan

Synth-pop legend Gary Numan will be at the O2 Academy in Liverpool this year as part of his tour around the UK.

The tour comes as Numan released his 21st album Intruder which was released in May last year, including songs ‘The End Of Dragons’ and ‘Betrayed’.

Craig David

Craig David is back with his ‘Hold That Thought’ arena tour for 2022, after his last arena tour sold out within seconds.

Originally due to perform on April 21, 2021, the tour was postponed due to coronavirus.

It’s never too early to talk about Christmas, and this December 2022 Leona Lewis will be coming to Liverpool for an evening of Christmas classics.

This year marks 15 years since her iconic X-Factor win, with the evening set to be a mixture of Christmas classics and greatest hits.
