display - and we aren't talking about Guy Fawkes night at the Forest Recreation Ground.

For the second year running Nottingham Racecourse will be hosting its own fireworks party in association with local visual impairment charity, My Sight.

It takes place on Saturday, November 3, from 5pm to 7.30pm.

Tickets are now on sale at thejockeyclub.co.uk, priced £8 for adults, £3 for children and £20 for a family ticket (two adults and two children).

Gates will open at 5pm for children's entertainment and on-site catering before the fireworks display at 6.30pm.

No dogs will be allowed at the racecourse except for assistance dogs.
