A huge fire has broke out in the Scots Western Isles sparking concern.
The blaze was spotted on the east side of the isle of Benbecula this afternoon at around 3.30pm.
It is unknown if anyone has been injured at this point or how the fire started.
Massive thick smoke clouds are billowing from the area as the blaze continues to grow.
Photographs on the fire taken by eye witnesses show flames sweep over a field near water.
