A massive blaze has broken out at a former social club in Chepstow.
Flames were seen rising from the Severn Bridge Club in the town's Bulwark area at around 7.15pm on Wednesday and soon the entire building had been engulfed.
The club, which was due to be demolished to make way for a Lidl supermarket, is thought to have been boarded up and empty at the time the fire started.

Five fire engines remained in attendance shortly before 9pm and nearby homes have not been evacuated although some residents have been spotted dousing their houses with hosepipes as the heat intensifies and hot ash and sparks continue to fall.

One passerby described the smoke as thick and said visibility in the immediate area was "zero".
The club, which was built in 1965, was once said to have played host to a number of sporting stars including darts champions Eric Bristow and Jocky Wilson who attended tournaments there.
