A spokesperson for the fire service said seven fire engines from Wrexham, Deeside, Llangollen, Johnstown attended the scene. There is also an aerial ladder platform, an environmental protection unit and an incident comment unit.

An environmental protection unit and an incident command unit are also at the scene.

The building on fire is a recycling centre, NorthWalesLive reports.

Nearby residents have been told to keep away from the site and to close their windows and doors.
