More than 70 firefighters spent the night tackling a massive blaze at a car scrapyard near Falkirk.
Emergency services, including ten fire engines and seven support units, rushed to the scene in Winchester Avenue in Denny, when the alarm was raised at around 9.29pm last night, Monday November, 1.
Mercy crews say they found a well-developed blaze and worked through the night to bring it under control.
An eyewitness reported hearing "loads of explosions with gas bottles and old vehicle tanks".
Smoke and flames could be seen by motorists driving along the M876.
Two fire engines and a height appliance remained at the scene at 6.30am this morning.
There were no reports of any casualties.
The cause of the fire is not yet known and an investigation has started.
