Huge fight in Call Lane bar in Leeds with staff involved and two left injured

Two people had been injured after a bar fight broke out in Leeds.

Officers from West Yorkshire Police were called to Maven cocktail bar on Call Lane last weekend after a fight involving bar staff.

One eyewitness told LeedsLive that a woman had been involved in the fight and was hit by a man.

Police have now confirmed that a woman, as well as a man suffered injuries in the incident.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police received reports of an ongoing fight involving bar staff at licensed premises in Call Lane.

"Officers attended and found the suspects had left.

"A search was made of licensed premises in the city centre, but the suspects were not located.

"A man and a woman, both in their twenties, suffered minor injuries in the incident."

Police enquiries are ongoing.
