Huge family exhibition with life-size LEGO sculptures coming to Liverpool

Liverpool will welcome the UK’s largest interactive brick-filled exhibition this year as BRICKLIVE comes to the city for the first time.

The event will head to Liverpool ’s Exhibition Centre this October and offer families access to more than two million bricks, exclusive digital content and life-sized professionally built statues.

The exhibition will feature brick models of some of the world’s most iconic buildings along with fantasy creations.

Among the statues are an 8m long Flying Scotsman, a fire breathing dragon and a scale replica of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

There will also be a range of interactive features available to explore including a galactic adventure zone with Star Wars themed bricks to build your own spacecraft, Minecraft gaming tables, racing ramps, and selfie stations.

There will be more than 2 million bricks on site (handout)

Families can also keep themselves entertained in the giant brick pits containing more than 250,000 LEGO bricks.

Colm Graham, senior sales manager for Exhibition Centre Liverpool, said: “BRICKLIVE will bring the largest collection of bricks and models Liverpool has ever seen and visitors can experience it all under one roof.

“We will have over 5,000sqm (50,000ft) of fun, providing a platform for the whole family to create, play and discover. It’s the perfect event to keep the kids entertained during October half-term.”

BRICKLIVE comes to Liverpool from October 25 to 25, with three and a half hour long sessions across the weekend.

Tickets are on sale now via www.exhibitioncentreliverpool.com with early bird tickets starting from £8.

Children aged 3 and under go free.
