Get ready to 'do the fandago', go 'radio ga ga' and do some serious hand clapping and air guitaring, as a huge outdoor concert dedicated to one of the biggest groups of all time is coming to the North East.
While the summer will bring its fair share of big outdoor music events to the region including Mouth of the Tyne, South Tyneside Festival, you'll need to wait until the autumn to rock out at 'Evening of Queen' at Chester-le-Street's Emirates Cricket Ground.
Happening two months after night there, the outdoor concert on Sunday, September 15, will unite a a dazzling collection of performers from London’s West End, including former stars from the smash hit musical‘We Will Rock You.
They will come together to present an incredible tribute to one of the world’s great rock bands in a one-night spectacular outdoor concert at the home of Durham Cricket.
The show will feature dozens of hits from an astonishing back catalogue and is a concert evening no Queen fan should miss!
Tickets for this unmissable event are on sale now, priced at just £29.50 for seats, £26.50 for adult standing and £15 for junior standing (under-16), plus a £1.50 booking fee.
