Police have sealed off multiple streets in Kirkby after reports of an incident.
A large emergency service response is at the scene on Park Brow Drive in Kirkby at the junction with Bullens Road. Witnesses described seeing police patrolling the area on Saturday as yellow crime scene tape was put in place across the junction.
Photos taken by the ECHO show several police cars at the scene and officers guarding each end of the cordon. A force incident manager for Merseyside Police confirmed to the ECHO that police were in attendance this afternoon.
