A van has ploughed into a house in Audenshaw this evening. Videos on social media obtained by the Manchester Evening News show a large white van embedded in the wall of the home.
It's thought the van crashed into the property at around 6pm on Friday evening (July 22) on Manchester Road in Audenshaw. Witnesses say it collided with the home opposite the Pearl Restaurant in the town.
Footage from the scene also shows a large emergency response, with police and fire in attendance. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue service has also confirmed that paramedics treated the driver of the van.

The spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 6pm on Friday 22 July, fire crews were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Manchester Road, Audenshaw.
“The technical rescue unit and a fire engine from Ashton fire station quickly attended the scene. The incident involved a van which had crashed into the front of a house. A man, who had been in the van, was treated at the scene by colleagues from North West Ambulance Service (NWAS).
“Firefighters helped make the area safe before handing over to colleagues from Tameside Council and Greater Manchester Police (GMP). GMFRS crews were in attendance for around an hour and a half.”
