A major fire has broken out on George IV Bridge in Edinburgh this morning, as emergency services rush to tackle the blaze.
Eye witnesses report seeing smoke emitting between the Frankenstein's pub and the Patisserie Valerie, but it is unknown at this moment which building is ablaze.
George IV Bridge is currently completely closed in both directions due to the ongoing incident, with buses diverted.
Police Scotland confirmed the fire was 'large'.

Police, ambulance and the fire services are all on the scene.
On Twitter, one eye witness shared a dramatic image on social media.
Another passerby said: "There is a fire in Frankenstein’s at the moment. The road is closed. Just to let everyone know, in case you are driving that way or walking to work. Police and firefighters are working as I post. Hopefully all will be fine."
Traffic has built up on North Bridge, Forrest Road, Chambers Street and Grassmarket, due to the road closure, and it could cause major delays across the city.
Police Scotland posted a statement on Twitter, saying: "Our officers are currently assisting the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service dealing with a large fire at George IV Bridge.
"Please be aware that there are numerous road closures in the vicinity of George IV Bridge and Candlemaker Row at present and avoid the area where possible."
Lothian Buses confirmed that services affected were the 2, 23, 27, 41, 42 and 35.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said : "Officers are currently in attendance assisting Scottish Fire and Rescue Service after fire was reported at 6.45am at George IV Bridge area in Edinburgh this morning. There are road closures in place."
