Huge Dublin gig set up to help family of US comedian Billy Anderson following tragic crash

Ireland's top comedians are gathering for a massive show at the end of June to help raise funds for the family of a young Dad who died in following a crash in Wexford.

American legend Billy Anderson, 37, was tragically killed after his car collided with another near Gorey on May 26.

Billy, who had lived in Gorey for a number of years, left devastated friends and family behind including a young son, Dublin Live reports.

The popular counsellor was widely known in the comedy world as well as Ireland's American Football scene as a coach with the Wexford Eagles.

To help raise funds for his family a huge gig has been organised in the Workman's club.

Names such as Niel Delamerem Fred Cooke, Chris Kent, Jarlath Regan, and Damo Clarke are just a fraction of the talent who'll be performing to help out.

Billy Anderson's Craichouse will take place on Friday June 21 - and tickets are going for a great price at €15.80.

The 170 tickets are expected to sell out fast while all of the proceeds made will be given to his family.

If you'd like to buy tickets you can click  here  - there's also an option to make a donation if you can't attend.
