Shocking footage recorded in Leeds shows a car engulfed in flames at the side of the road during rush hour this evening (October 29).
A video, taken by an eyewitness, appears to show a large queue of traffic while flames engulf a darkly-coloured hatchback.
The vehicle appears to be carrying a yellow taxi license badge on its rear bumper.
Black smoke can be seen billowing into the air during the blaze, which took hold at around 5pm this afternoon.
It is not yet known what caused the fire on Beeston Road, to the south of Leeds city centre.
