Huge cannabis farm with more than 700 plants found by police in Trafford

This is the cannabis farm uncovered by police in Trafford.

Officers said they found the drugs growing at a property in Urmston town centre.

The cannabis farm contained more than 700 plants at different stages of growth, police said.

"Thanks to the Trafford North area team this seizure has taken a large amount of drugs off the street." (GMP Trafford North)

They struck last night after receiving intelligence about the presence of the drugs, according to a post on the GMP Trafford North Facebook page.

The post read: "Trafford North area team to the rescue…. Again

"Trafford West team your welcome #weacceptcakes.

"Tonight Trafford North area team have acted on some information passed to them & attended at an address.

It adds:"Have located a large cannabis farm comprising of over 700 cannabis plants at various stages of growth.

It contained more than 700 plants (GMP Trafford North)

"Thanks to the Trafford North area team this seizure has taken a large amount of drugs off the street & out of Urmston & keeping all of Trafford safe. Thanks Pc M"
