Huge cannabis farm uncovered at Glasgow warehouse after cops respond to 'suspicious activity'

A huge cannabis farm worth nearly half a million pounds has been uncovered in Glasgow.

The massive haul was discovered by cops in a warehouse on Salkeld Street around 12.10pm on Monday July 13 after reports of 'suspicious activity.'

It is believed there was around 800 plants totalling £480,000 on the streets in the building.

We previously told how pictures from the scene showed multiple vehicles and officers.

Now police are appealing for information from anyone who could assist them in their enquiries.

Detective Sergeant Graham Scott, of Baird Street CID, said: "Enquiries are ongoing however this is an example of how important information from the public can be."
