Huge cannabis farm found in former funeral parlour

A huge cannabis farm was found at a former funeral parlour in Wigan .

Police smashed their way into the premises in Tyldesley on Thursday, December 5.

They found two large rooms upstairs full of cannabis plants, a drying room and two nurseries, police said.

Officers posted about the raid on the GMP Leigh, Atherton and Hindley Facebook page on Tuesday.

They described the haul as a 'fabulous find'.

The post, put up at 10am by PCSO Andrew Willis, said there were bags and large tubs of 'bud waiting to hit the streets to be sold'.

A photo of scores of plants growing in a room packed with loose fitting lights and a fan was posted with the status.
