Huge cannabis farm discovered containing 200 plants in Radcliffe

A huge cannabis farm containing 200 plants has been discovered in Bury.

Police are searching for the owners of the farm which was found growing at an address on Ringley Road West, in Radcliffe.

Officers visited the property on Monday, December 2 and uncovered the plants.

The farm is believed to have an estimated street value of £80,000.

Greater Manchester Police have launched an appeal to trace the offenders and are asking anybody with further information to get in touch.

A statement said: "Police are appealing for information after a cannabis farm was discovered in Radcliffe

Police uncovered a huge cannabis farm containing 200 plants in Radcliffe (GMP)

"Police were called on Monday, December 2, 2019 regarding the discovery of large a cannabis farm at an address on Ringley Road West, Radcliffe.

The street value of the farm is thought to be £80k (GMP)

"Approximately 200 plants have been recovered by police, worth an estimated street value of £80,000.

"Enquiries are ongoing to trace the offenders."

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 001427 of 02/12/19, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
