Huge brawl breaks out inside Kerry pub after county loses GAA match

A video of an all-out brawl in a Kerry pub has surfaced showing fans fighting following a GAA match yesterday.

Footage seen on Galway Beo shows members of a large crowd pulling punches inside what appears to be the hallway of a pub.

In the 30-second clip, people are shouting and glasses can be heard breaking throughout. There are some people around the crowd who can be seen trying to descale the fracas.

The video was taken after Saturday's clash between Mayo and Kerry that saw Kerry lose by two points.

The GAA match took place in Killarney, where Kerry hosted Mayo in a Group 1 clash.

The reigning All-Ireland Kerry defended their Munster crown in a comfortable style and were the favourites against their old rivals.

But a Mayo side inspired by a very good forward line in Aidan O'Shea, Ryan O'Donoguhe and James Carr were in fine form.

Both sides had their goal changes that Shane Ryan and Colm Reape pulling off brilliant saves.

It was Eoghan McLaughlin who found the back of the net for Mayo, though, and they never looked like giving up their lead in a deserved victory for Kevin McStay's side.

Magnificently kick-starting Group 1 of the All-Ireland SFC (round-robin) phase, an outstanding Mayo were full value for their five-point victory over a strangely lacklustre Kerry outfit at Fitzgerald Stadium in Killarney.

Substitute Eoghan McLaughlin’s crucial 61st minute goal, after a scintillating attacking move involving Tommy Conroy, Jack Carney and Ryan O’Donoghue, was the score that finally killed off the hosts, who could have no complaints about the end result.

Indeed, if it wasn’t for the individual heroics of goalkeeper Shane Ryan (who made four point-blank saves) and David Clifford (his side’s top scorer with 0-8), the defending All-Ireland champions would have been on the receiving end of a much heavier defeat.
