'Huge boost' - Arsenal fans love what they saw in training session ahead of Norwich City clash

Arsenal trio Gabriel Magalhaes, Ben White and Thomas Partey have all returned to training ahead of this weekend's hugely important Premier League game with Norwich City.

The Gunners are rock-bottom of the league table after three straight defeats to Brentford, Chelsea and Manchester City, with no goals scored for Mikel Arteta 's side either.

The aforementioned trio are not really going to help the 'goals for' record, but will certainly help down the other end, with Arsenal conceding nine times in those three matches.

Gabriel has been sidelined after picking up an injury whilst on international duty for Brazil over the summer, but is now in contention for this weekend's match at the Emirates Stadium.

His soon-to-be defensive partner, White, meanwhile, has been missing since the opening game of the season defeat to Brentford after testing positive for coronavirus.

Partey picked up an ankle ligament injury in Arsenal's pre-season friendly clash with Chelsea last month, but looks set to be involved in some way against Norwich.

Arsenal fans, when taking to Twitter following images being released of the trio training with the rest of the squad, are delighted with what they saw.

Arteta will be delighted that three of his key players are back training with the squad and he will be desperate they can make a huge impact to the side if they do indeed feature against Norwich.

The Arsenal boss is a man under pressure at the Emirates Stadium following their worst start to a league campaign in over 65 years and he has been warned that anything but three points against the Canaries could lead to his dismissal.

Former Chelsea and England winger Joe Cole said to Coral, via Mail Online : "The future at Arsenal is obviously up in the air. I know they've played Chelsea, they played Manchester City, the two best teams, but it's the manner of both defeats.

"They had all pre-season to prepare for the Brentford game and they got it wrong on the day because they weren't at it mentally.

"That has happened too much with the Arsenal. That's not Arteta's fault.

"It's been something that's just been like damp getting into the woodwork at the club.

"In the two defeats against the big boys, it was like they laid down and died.

"I do like how Arteta has handled the situation. He is hardening as a manager, you can see that in him. So, I think he's got that. He's obviously a well-schooled coach because of his work with Pep. He's a thoughtful guy.

"He's in the storm at the moment. He has to find a result against Norwich and if he doesn't beat Norwich, I think it's probably the end for him."
