A huge fire ripped through an abandoned building as crews fought to bring it under control.
The blaze broke out at the former youth club on Harthill Road in Calderstones on Wednesday, April 14.
Five fire engines were called to the scene shortly after 8.30pm and found the single storey building well alight.
The main part of the fire has now been extinguished but crews remain at the scene.
No one is believed to have been injured and a joint investigation into the cause of the fire will be carried out by Merseyside Fire and Rescue and Merseyside Police.

A spokesperson from the fire service said: "Fire crews were called to a fire at an abandoned former youth club on Harthill Road, Calderstones Park, Liverpool tonight. Crews were alerted at 8.33pm and on scene at 8.41pm.
"Five fire engines attended.
"Crews arrived to find a single-storey building approx. 60 x 20m well alight. Firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, used a high pressure hose reel and a main branch hose to fight the fire.
"The main part of the fire has now been extinguished, with damping down and hotspot checks taking place.
"There are not believed to be any casualties. An investigation into the cause of the fire will be undertaken together with Merseyside Police."
