Six fire engines have attended a huge blaze at a primary school in Ormskirk.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue were called to reports of a fire at Asmall Primary School on Tennyson Drive, Ormskirk, at 7.30pm on Thursday, June 17.
Pictures and videos posted on social media show huge plumes of thick black smoke and flames coming from the school grounds, LancsLive reported.

Five crews from Lancashire, one from Merseyside and a command support unit from Blackburn were in attendance to get the fire, which involved three rooms, under control.
An eyewitness said she heard a 'huge bang' before seeing the 'devastating' fire.
A spokesperson from the fire service said: "Six fire crews, including some from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, are tackling a fire at a commercial premises on Tennyson Drive in Ormskirk.
"The building was well alight when firefighter arrived at the scene and crews are working using breathing apparatus and hose reels to bring the fire under control."
Firefighters reported the blaze was 'under control' at 9pm, with crews remaining on the scene to 'damp down' and ensure there is no hidden flames that can spread to the rest of the building.
Councillor Adam Yates has said nobody was in the building when the fire broke.
He said: "Horrible news about Asmall Primary School and nursery on fire this evening.
"Everything is under control now but we’ll have to wait and see what caused it and what damage there is.
"Thankfully no one was in the building at the time."
Lancashire Fire and Rescue is now investigating the cause of the blaze.
