A LARGE fire has broken out at an industrial estate in Livingston, sending a plume of thick black smoke into the sky over the town.
Emergency services were alerted to a blaze at the fire at Deans Industrial Estate on Caputhall Road at around 3.20pm on Sunday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue (SFRS) service is now in attendance, with four appliances and a height vehicle at the scene.
Pictures posted on social media appear to show large flames bursting through the roof of a building.
There have been no reported injuries so far and the cause of the fire has not yet been established.
The building involved is understood to be the former Schlumberger training centre, which has more recently been used as a general warehouse.
SFRS and Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
