This is the incredible moment a curious alligator appeared to try to ring a doorbell.
The two-metre-long reptile creeps towards the front door in the clip and seems to reach up to announce his arrival.
Karen Alfano filmed the creature stretch its hind legs at her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
She said she returned home after a walk to find the alligator at the front door.
But the alligator eventually gave up, Karen said.
"[It] was the coolest thing that could ever possibly happen to anyone," the homeowner told ABC News .
But neighbours told the publication they weren't happy the reptile was poking around their gardens.

It's reported the alligator damaged shelves in the porch in Myrtle Beach and left scratches on her garden.
Officials helped remove the alligator and return it to the wild, it's believed.
However, officials at the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources are asking community members to not call them if the alligator is smaller than five feet.
Young gators pose no threat to humans, the authority said.

It comes after a monster alligator was caught on camera roaming a golf course in Georgia, US .
Golfers preparing to finish the 17th hole at The Club at Savannah Harbor were amazed to see the reptile casually wander onto the green.
Ed Vance, who caught the creature on camera, said: "I will always remember the sound of his feet when he was walking on the green.
"The video doesn’t pick it up, but the 'thud, thud, thud' sound was what you would think a dinosaur sounds like. It was surreal."
