Huge 33-storey apartment block approved for Manchester city centre

Planning permission has been granted for a 33-storey apartment block in Manchester city centre.

The Port Street scheme has been backed by planners at Manchester City Council and will include 481 flats.

Designed by SimpsonHaugh, the scheme will also include a welcoming hub, co-working spaces, lounge areas, cinema room and gym.
