Two lucky residents in Beeston will be celebrating big this Christmas, after scooping £50,000 each thanks to their postcode.
The pair won the cash when NG9 4HP in Beeston was announced as a winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Saturday, December 19.
The neighbours decided to remain anonymous but will still receive their prize money.
The prize was won as part of People’s Postcode Lottery’s special Christmas campaign, where one postcode is announced as a £50,000 prize winner every day.
Sending his congratulations was People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson.
He said: “I’m thrilled for our winners in Beeston. I hope they celebrate the win over Christmas and treat themselves to something nice.”
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have helped raise over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes across Britain and internationally.
This draw was promoted by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation which has received over £3.3 million in funding thanks to players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
