Hudson-Odoi in and the big Azpilicueta call: How Chelsea could line up to face Tottenham

It is a big game for Chelsea this weekend as the Blues travel to face Tottenham this weekend.

The two London rivals are separated by just three points going into the game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Spurs able to move above the Blues with a victory.

Chelsea are in poor form going into the contest, with four defeats from their last five games in the Premier League, while Spurs have enjoyed an upturn in form since the arrival of Jose Mourinho last month.

Blues head coach Frank Lampard has some big decisions to make for the game in north London, but who will he choose to start against Spurs?

Chelsea 'not taking enough chances' says Frank Lampard

We take a look at the options available to him as three of our team at football.london give their opinions below.

Chelsea are in a real slump of form right now with four Premier League defeats in five matches.

The Blues have to stop the rot and they are not going to do that by being to adventurous in the way they set up.

Frank Lampard will need his midfield three of Jorginho, N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic really firing for the game to get three points.

The one big issue is in defence and whether or not Reece James comes back into the starting XI, and it has to be a yes. He should come in to the right-back role, with Cesar Azpilicueta moving over to left-back.

I’d also give Callum Hudson-Odoi a shot on the left wing, giving Christian Pulisic a break and the youngster a start.

Oliver's team (4-3-3): Kepa; James, Rudiger, Zouma, Azpilicueta; Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic; Willian, Abraham, Hudson-Odoi.

With a full week to prepare for this meeting against Jose Mourinho and Tottenham, fatigue can be no excuse.

Expect Frank Lampard to go with his most experienced midfield three of N’Golo Kante, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic and the front three picks itself.

The defence has some questions hanging over it though. Antonio Rudiger will start but aside from that there are no certainties.

Kurt Zouma is favourite to partner the German in the middle, while Reece James and Emerson get my nod to start because captain Cesar Azpilicueta has found the going tough in recent games.

Alan's team (4-3-3): Kepa; James, Rudiger, Zouma, Emerson; Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic; Willian, Abraham, Pulisic.

Chelsea have not had a game in midweek, which should help them in their preparations for the game against Spurs.

But this will be a big test for Frank Lampard, with the Blues struggling of late in the Premier League.

After four defeats in their last five games, the Blues will drop out of the top four if they lose on Sunday, and Lampard will surely go for experience in this big fixture.

As such, I would expect the likes of Antonio Rudiger and Cesar Azpilicueta to start in defence, and the tried and trusted midfield three of N'Golo Kante, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic.

I can see Willian, Christian Pulisic and Tammy Abraham continuing as the front three, with Callum Hudson-Odoi on the bench again.

Robert's team (4-3-3): Kepa, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Zouma, Emerson; Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic; Willian, Abraham, Pulisic.

Now it is your turn to pick your team.

Who would be in your team for the game?
