James returns, Tomori and Batshuayi start - The team Chelsea fans want to see vs Leicester

Chelsea face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium this afternoon.

The Blues will be looking to close the gap on the Foxes, with eight points separating the two teams in the table as both look to secure Champions League football next season.

Chelsea do have one slight advantage over Brendan Rodgers' men, having had extra time to prepare for the game.

Leicester City v Chelsea: Frank Lampard press conference

While the Blues had a free week, Leicester were in Carabao Cup semi-final action against Aston Villa, losing out on a place at Wembley thanks to a stoppage time goal.

The Foxes though will be eager to bounce back from that defeat with Chelsea standing in their way.

Ahead of the match, Blues fans have been having their say on who they would like to see be named in the starting lineup for the match, with it looking as though there will be no new additions during deadline day.

Fans would like to see two changes to the back four that started the 2-2 draw against Arsenal, with Reece James, who is now back from injury, coming in at right back and Fikayo Tomori replacing Andreas Christensen in the center of defence.

James inclusion would also see Cesar Azpilicueta moved to the left-back role, replacing Emerson.

Supporters have chosen the same midfield three from the draw against the Gunners, with N'Golo Kante returning to his former club.

Tammy Abraham would be first choice pick as the striker in the front three, however he is an injury doubt for the game.

"He has trained today and felt okay," said Lampard

"We need to see if there is a reaction because it is a pain injury. There is a lot of pain and even in training he has pain. So I am going to look at that one overnight and test him in the morning."

Presuming that Abraham does not come through the late fitness test, fans would like to see the England striker replaced with Belgian international Michy Batshuayi.

He will be supported by Callum Hudson-Odoi and Willian.

Chelsea fans' starting XI: Arrizabalaga; James, Tomori, Rudiger, Azpilicueta; Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic; Willian, Batshuayi, Hudson-Odoi.
