With outdoor entertaining at the forefront of our minds, this new collaboration between Hudson Grace and Peter Dunham could not have arrived at a more perfect time. It's exactly what I've been looking for to complement my summer table decor ideas, thanks to its easy eclecticism, subtly bohemian vibes, and bold, yet elegant color palette.
Anna Last, US Editorial Director of Homes & Gardens, went to the launch of the collaboration and said, 'It is sophisticated and pretty, elevated yet casual, classic and modern all at the same time – all the things I love. That is a hard thing to get right, and this collection nails it.'
'There is something about the balance of those colorways (that red really pops) with Peter's prints, that is doing all the right things together, and I like that, however, you choose to mix and match the pieces, the color combinations are always complementary.'

We've long been admirers of the LA-based designer and founder of Hollywood at Home, Peter Dunham, for his brave use of color and pattern, and now Hudson Grace is bringing his designs to their stores for us all to enjoy.
For this collection, he brings in his European roots, Middle Eastern influences, and inspiration from his travels – reimagining some of his iconic prints – to create an exotic yet elegant tabletop aesthetic.
'We share a love of color, pattern, and spaces that feel collected, not decorated,' says Monelle Totah, Founder of Hudson Grace. '[Peter's] signature prints and bold layering bring energy to the collection,' she adds. 'Most of all, it makes you want to throw a party.' You'll find more summer garden party decoration ideas in our inspirational round-up.

As a champion of hand-crafted design, Peter Dunham has included Italian hand-painted plates and Indian-inspired block-printed linens in his collection for Hudson Grace, giving a unique and elegantly imperfect finish to the pieces. He says, 'I've been dreaming of doing a tabletop line for ages. Entertaining at home is a big and happy part of my life.'
This, combined with Hudson Grace's classic silhouettes, collected pieces, and modern tabletop essentials, forms a beautifully curated collection of effortlessly eclectic and authentic tableware.
'I've got my eye on the green Fez plates, which I'll mix with the Shani pink and green floral napkins,' says Anna. 'There's something so lovely about a mix of green and soft pink, but the tones have to be right, and here, they work so well together.'

What I love about this collection is that it can be styled in so many different ways, as the pieces are designed to be purposefully mismatched, allowing for layering. So you can create different looks to suit all your summer gatherings, from a pretty pastel-hued lunch to vibrant celebratory feasts, and 4th of July parties with red, white, and blue motifs to botanical-inspired gatherings with cool greens.
'There is a global, and 'found' sensibility here that makes the pieces feel like they could be part of your own personal collection of travel finds that have been curated over the years.' Anna adds, 'Monelle has such a fabulous eye for things that are both classic, yet contemporary, all at the same time, and they mix so well with Peter's talent for pattern and color'.

The collection features 62 pieces, including tablecloths, napkins, and plates, starting at $28, and is available in stores and online at Hudson Grace. Here are the ones I'm going to be buying – and quickly, before they sell out.
