Huddersfield Town injury list ahead of Leeds United clash as Terriers handed boost

Leeds United host Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town this weekend looking for a fifth win on the bounce and to complete a league double over their neighbours in the process.

Marcelo Bielsa's men sit second in the table, a single point behind leaders West Bromwich Albion and five clear of third-placed Fulham as we enter the final ten games of the season.

Danny Cowley's side are in desperate need of points themselves, sitting 17th in the table, four points clear of the drop zone.

Both sides come into the clash on the back of 4-0 wins, with Leeds having swept aside Hull City and the KCOM Stadium and Town fresh from a thrashing of Charlton at home.

With a number of key players having been recent doubts, here is a look at how Huddersfield's injury list looks going into the match...

Andy King

The experienced Leicester City loanee missed the Terriers 4-0 win over Charlton on Saturday with a hamstring injury but Cowley is confident he will be available again this weekend."Kingy is really low level and he should be on the grass Monday," he said."I just didn't want to risk him."

Jonathan Hogg

One midfielder who is not likely to feature is Jonathan Hogg, who has a knee ligament injury and will visit a specialist in the next few days, as reported by our colleagues at Examiner Live .

Alex Pritchard

Playmaker Alex Pritchard made Huddersfield's bench for the first time since November on Saturday after recovering from a knee cyst.

Collin Quaner

German defender Collin Quaner is another who returned at the weekend, making his first appearance in a matchday squad since August after hip surgery.

Emile Smith Rowe

Arsenal loanee Smith Rowe has a slight back issue, but should be fit for the Elland Road trip.
