Back in the US, schools have been showing support for students after the the deaths of Adam and Michael Huber who both attended Damonte Ranch.
Students at the school pushed for students at other schools in the county to wear their blue and green - the colours of the Damonte Ranch High School Mustangs - in support of all the people involved.
At a high school swim meet Saturday at the Northwest Pool in Reno, swimmers from Reno and Wooster high schools showed support for Damonte by writing "Mustang Strong," on their backs, the Reno Gazette Journal reports.
The hashtag "Mustang Strong" also trended in the area for a time as locals supported each other after the recent tragedy.
A spokesperson for the Damonte Ranch high-school said: " The Damonte Ranch High School family would like to express its heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of support and kindness from our community following a recent series of tragedies that has impacted our school, students, and staff.
"So many of our fellow school families have sent letters, pictures, flowers, cards, and signed banners to our school, and our students and staff members appreciate each and every one.
"Parents of our students—and students from across the District—have also reached out with messages of caring and support. Such thoughtful gestures have proved to be bright spots during a very dark time for our school family, and we are thankful to everybody in the community who has taken a moment to keep us in their thoughts."
