HP leads in Tablet PCs

IDC has, surprisingly, released numbers for the first sales of Tablet PCs, revealing that HP's Compaq model has given it an early lead, reports the IDG News Service. Sales are almost microscopic by PC standards, though IDC's analyst claims: "For only six weeks, 70,000 units is pretty significant. We're still at the very early stages of the early adopters."
