Hozier at Malahide Castle: Travel, stage times, tickets, support acts and setlist

Irish singer Hozier is set to take to the stage on Friday night at his sold-out gig at Malahide Castle.

The 33-year-old Bray native, real name Andrew Hozier-Byrne, is best known for his chart topping hits 'Take Me To Church', 'Tell It To My Heart' and 'Nina Cried Power.' Hozier is fresh off his show-stopping appearance at the Glastonbury Festival at the weekend.

He's currently touring the UK and Ireland following the release of his latest EP 'Eat Your Young.' The singer is also set to release his much anticipated third studio album 'Unreal Earth' on August 18.

Over 20,000 fans are set to flock to Malahide Castle to see the singer perform on Friday night.

Here's everything you need to know from what public transport is available, stage times and support acts, tickets, setlist, and weather.

Getting there

Friday is set to be a busy evening with traffic delays expected throughout the city. Concertgoers heading to see Hozier have been used to take public transport like the DART, Dublin Bus, or private coach to get to Malahide Castle.

For concertgoers who want to take the DART to Malahide Castle, the train service will bring you to Malahide Train Station.

It's then just a 15-minute walk to Malahide Castle. Other city centre Dart locations include Grand Canal Dock, Pearse, Tara Street and Connolly Stations.

Dublin Bus routes

There are a couple of Dublin Bus routes that travel to and from Malahide Castle. The routes 32 and 42 go from the city centre all the way up to Malahide Village and then it's just a short ten minute walk to the venue.

Private coach

If you'd prefer to take a private coach, there's currently a direct coach service to and from Customs House Quay, Dublin 1 in the city centre.

This service then departs from the Dublin Road in Malahide post-concert. Book a return journey or find out more at

Concertgoers are advised there will be limited parking available at Malahide Castle via the Black Road. It's likely to be very busy on the night, so make sure you're there a couple of minutes early if you're parking or even asked to get dropped off in the area if you're catching a lift.

Ticket information

Hozier's gig at Malahide Castle on Friday 30 June is officially sold out, but a few tickets might still pop up on resale via Ticketmaster. So it's advised to keep an eye out.

Meanwhile, those who do have tickets are advised that before you arrive at the gig you'll need to download or print your tickets before you arrive at the venue.

There will be Ticketmaster box offices and guest list facilities opposite the arena entrance. Also, unaccompanied ticket holders under the age of 16 won't be allowed in, so do make sure to be accompanied by an adult.

Stage times and support acts
