A Howth fisherman landed the catch of the day over the weekend when he picked up a cheque for an incredible €30,000 on Winning Streak.
And Corkonian Philip Nolan, who has lived in the north Dublin village for almost 60 years, joked that his new found celebrity has seen him finally accepted as a fully fledged Howth man.
Philip was watching the RTE game show two weeks ago with his wife Marie when his name was pulled out of the drum by host Marty Whelan.
Marie "hit the roof" when his name was announced although Philip remained calm though as he knew there was another Philip O’Neill living in Howth.
Once he saw his address at the end of the show, he began to get excited, with his whole family calling around for a celebration that ran well into the early hours of Sunday morning.
Philip and Marie have been married for 53 years and have three adult children, Jeanette, Carmel and Shane.
Carmel missed the show as she is on holidays in Spain with her daughter Orla.
Shane, who lives in Basel, Switzerland flew to Dublin with his wife and two children to cheer on his dad.
Philip is now retired but previously worked as a fisherman all his life on trawlers in the seas all around Ireland since he moved up from Cork to Howth.
With his winnings from the show he is going to treat his family but first and foremost he plans to take the lovely Marie on the holiday of a lifetime to New York.
