She has been around for nearly 20 years but this is an actor to be noted for your diary if you're a web series or a TV show or a filmmaker. But yes, she starts off straight with a punch that she prefers a web show to a TV serial. Why? Because it's not forever, she smiles. "Plus, the content in web shows is more concrete," she adds. She's talking from her hotel room in Mumbai just before slumping after a long but satisfying day of work in Ajay Devgn and Priti Sinha's upcoming OTT venture 'Six Suspects'.
Himanshi says that 'Inside Edge' proved to be her game-changer. The 'Out of Love" actress has no major issues with intimate scenes or cuss words. "I had some very intimate scenes with Vivek Oberoi in 'Inside Edge'. I was okay with that."
Himanshi has no problem in using cuss words, which have become common parlance in the OTT space.
And, Ms Choudhry doesn't best around the bush if you ask her whether filmmakers prefer to cast youngsters who have a high number of followers on social media. "Yes, they do. I lost out on a role to someone who had more social media followers than me. Aisa hota hai."
"I am single," she signs off after replying to our concluding question about her personal status.
