Howard Donald delivers devastating blow about Take That's current tour

Take That fans are in for a huge disappointment as it has been suggested that the band will not perform together as their original line-up on their current tour.

The chart topping band consists of Robbie Williams, Mark Owen, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Jason Orange and first burst onto the music scene in 1990.

But now according to 50-year-old Howard, the chances of all five reuniting for during their current Greatest Hits Live tour are looking incredibly low.

And, during a chat on the Lorraine show on Friday, the singer is pointing the finger of blame at 45-year-old Robbie (who quit the group in 1995, and again in 2014) and 48-year-old Jason (who quit the group in 2014).

Asked if Jason would return for any of the current tour dates, Jason said: “I don’t think so. I think he’s doing his own thing, he’s happy where he is.”

He continued: “He’s the sort of person that at the moment he wants to keep a distance from it, so we don’t tend to bother him.”

However Howard did offer one glimmer of hope, adding: “The door’s open for him whenever.”

The revelation came hours after Howard had shut down hopes that Robbie might appear on the tour while speaking on The One Show on Thursday night.

“It isn’t going to happen,” Howard flatly told Alex Jones and Matt Baker.

"He's got his thing. He's just done Vegas, which is amazing for him,” he continued - adding he wouldn’t want to force either of the boys to return to the group against their will.

“Take that as a five, as a four, as a three - anyone who wants to come back can come back. We just don’t want to pester them,” he said.
