How young fans can watch Nottingham Forest's promotion charge for just £1

Youngsters are being given the chance to watch the latest installment of Nottingham Forest’s promotion charge for just £1.

The Reds are next in City Ground action on Wednesday October 23, when they welcome former Player of the Year Eric Lichaj and his Hull City team to Trentside for the 7.45pm kick-off.

That fixture, which comes shortly after the latest international break ends and just three days after the Sabri Lamouchi’s Forest travel to Wigan Athletic, falls right in the middle of the half-term holiday – and those aged between four and 11 can see the game for just £1.

What’s more, adult prices for the game start at just £20, rising to £24, while those between the ages of 12 and 23 are priced between £5 and £6 - seniors cost between £15 and £18.

Demand is expected to be huge for the game, with the City Ground once again proving a popular this season.

Almost 28,000 were on Trentside on Saturday to see the Reds make it 10 games unbeaten with a 1-0 success over Brentford, a result which saw Lamouchi’s men occupy second place in the Championship as their fine start to the season continued.

So far this term, the Reds have averaged 27,784 in their five Championship outings, a record only bettered by Leeds United, with the Whites pulling in 34,956.

Last season, Forest’s 28,144 was the third biggest average gate in the second tier, only falling behind Aston Villa (36,029) and Leeds (34,033) - their highest since Brian Clough’s men were kings of Europe.

Tickets for the clash with Hull are available in person at the ticket office, by calling 01159824388 or online .
