How you can win free tickets to Game of Thrones wine event in Edinburgh

The wait is nearly over for the final season of Game of Thrones to appear on TV.

The eighth and final season begins on April 14, and on the same day a great event for fans of all things Westeros is coming to Edinburgh.

Wines of the Seven Kingdoms is a wine-tasting event with drinks inspired by George RR Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire novels.

Taking place in the spectacular surroundings of The Hub on the Royal Mile, it will even have a huge map of Westeros on the wall at the venue.

Edinburgh Comic Con 2019: Game of Thrones stars descend on the capital for a fun-packed weekend

This weekend only, you can grab free tickets to the Pop Up Geeks event by sharing this Facebook post and tagging who you'd take with you in the comments.

Game of Thrones fans have been packing out the pop-up bar at East Market Street (Pop Up Geeks)

Pop Up Geeks say: "Two lucky lords or ladies will receive all inclusive tickets to the event (worth £35 each), giving them access to all 40+ wine samples from across the Seven Kingdoms, a Blood & Wine tasting glass to use and take home and a wax sealed scroll detailing the wines and regions featured."

You've got until midnight on Sunday, April 8 to get your bids in, so send for your maester and dispatch a raven with haste.

It's part of the Blood and Wine pop-up bar taking place on East Market street at the minute.
