How you can still buy tickets to Lewis Capaldi's sold-out Croxteth Park show in Liverpool

Lewis Capaldi announced an unexpected open-air Liverpool concert yesterday and unsurprisingly tickets sold out in a matter of hours.

However, there is still a way fans can get tickets to the show hosted by BBC Radio 1 as many tickets have been reserved for those living in the city.

The show, which takes place on Monday, August 5 will see Capaldi perform his hugely successful debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, with a full live orchestra.

It follows his Glastonbury performance which saw him take to the festival's 'Other Stage' where he performed to thousands of fans.

Anyone living within the Liverpool City Council areas can still log in to Ticketmaster and get their hands on tickets to the show which takes place on August 5.

'Local Resident Tickets' can be purchased by going through BBC's website, and selecting the correct ticket type.

The show takes place following a huge weekend at Croxteth Park for the BBC Summer Social , which will see Pixie Lott, Busted and John Newman perform.

Tickets are priced at £22 (including a booking fee).
