Leeds United will be hosting a birthday bash in Millennium Square on Thursday afternoon as part of the club's Centenary celebrations.
The first team squad will be joined by club legends plus owner Andrea Radrizzani as the club join forces with Leeds City Council and Radio Aire for the party which will run between 3pm and 6.30pm.
Radio Aire Breafast Show presenters Ant and Kate will host the show with music from local bands The Skylights and Shadowlark, while a number of other games and activities will also take place.
Food and drink catering concessions will be available in a specially created outdoor arena and a limited amount of free tickets are available from the Millennium Square website here from 11am on Monday October 14.
Leeds United skipper Liam Cooper is looking forward to the celebrations: “We are all excited to share our birthday with fans and the local people in Leeds City Centre," he said,
“We really appreciate the efforts made by Leeds City Council to make the day special for us and for our supporters.
“We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at Millennium Square.”
Leeds City Council leader Councillor Judith Blake, added: “We are delighted to be hosting this very special event with Leeds United, which forms part of celebrations in the city to mark the club’s centenary.
“It promises to be a fantastic way in which fans of all ages can play their part in the centenary festivities, and we are looking forward to welcoming a great crowd to join the players on Millennium Square.”
