How you can get a job on Hollyoaks or The Only Way is Essex

Ever dreamed of working in showbiz? Well this could be your chance.

Liverpool-based Lime Pictures - which produces TV shows such as Hollyoaks, The Only Way is Essex and Geordie Shore - is on the lookout for enthusiastic, passionate individuals to join their internship scheme.

The national production company is on the lookout for the next generation of talent in the television industry and is currently advertising a variety of nine-month internship programmes across several departments, commencing in September 2019.

These include make-up, costume, sound, graphic design, music, camera and editorial to name a few.

The best part? You don’t need any specific experience or qualifications. All they require is that you have a demonstrable passion, coupled with creativity and drive.

What’s on Offer?

As an intern with Lime Pictures, you will be offered a nine-month contract with a salary of £15,000 (pro rata).

You will receive unparalleled structured training in your chosen field and get the opportunity to work on award-winning productions alongside highly experienced professionals.

"We are looking to bring the next generation of talent into the television industry and we want to attract individuals from all backgrounds.

"We’re not concerned about your qualifications or professional skills/experience, what is important to us is your passion, drive and creativity.

"We have a number of 9-month internships available across our production departments.

"During your time at Lime we will give you in depth on the job training to help you develop broad understanding, knowledge and experience in your chosen area, and at the end of the 9 months you will be well-equipped to apply for entry level positions across the media industry."

The deadline for applications is July 5, with an assessment day in Liverpool on July 30.

Internships start in September.
