The Kilmarnock Standard's annual Christmas appeal in aid of Ayrshire (East) Foodbank is up and running.
And if you would like to donate, there is still plenty of time to get involved.
Items needed include tinned fruit (400g), tea bags (80s), dried pasta, UHT milk and breakfast cereal, tinned meat, fish, fruit and puddings, pasta sauces, instant coffee, fruit juice (long life), jam and instant mashed potato.
As it is the festive season some nice Christmas fare would be well received by those in need.
You can hand your donations in to our Portland Gate office in Kilmarnock between 9am and 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 1pm on Friday.
The Kilmarnock Standard is accepting donations up to 10am on Friday, December 20, and all donations will help people in our region who are experiencing difficult times.
The food bank is run almost entirely by volunteers and is supported by Voluntary Community Organisations (CVO) East Ayrshire.
Health and wellbeing manager Angela Gracie said: "Without the generosity of the community, food banks like us would not be here.
"We are grateful for anything people are able to give. We look for things people can cook easily that would feed a family.

"Christmas is a time for giving and we have no doubt our readers will show how kind and generous they are. We are not asking for the fancy stuff and the treats but often people will just give you that as well."
