Greggs is giving pastry fans in Bristol the chance to chomp away on the Festive Bake before anyone else.
A UK-wide vote has been set up in which residents of 20 cities and towns can battle it out to host the snack up to a week before its national launch on Thursday, November 7.
Bristol is among the participating locations, but at the time of writing stands in 10th position, lagging behind the likes of Newcastle (first), Manchester (second) and Birmingham (third), Birmingham Live reports.
However, so far Bristol is showing itself to have bigger Greggs fans than cities including Liverpool (11), Edinburgh (12) and Swansea (17).
Once voting ends, the winning location will be the first to have the Festive Bake on sale - on Friday, November 1.
The baked good will then head to the four next best-performing cities each day until the full launch.
As part of the competition, Greggs is also looking for 'superfans' who will have the special honour of carrying the Festive Bake into their area.
