How would you grade the Colts’ 2019 NFL Draft class?

Now that the hectic weekend of the 2019 NFL Draft has officially concluded, the evaluation of picks made by the Indianapolis Colts and the rest of the league will be thoroughly examined.

Each analyst is different in their evaluations, and teams more often have a different opinion of a prospect than the media. And unless you’ve stolen the time stone from Doctor Strange, there really isn’t a way to know how the 2019 class will perform.

Simply ask the detractors (which wasn’t us) that called Darius Leonard one of the worst picks of the 2018 class. It’s impossible to know how these players will perform until they begin working in the respective schemes of the teams that drafted them.

With all that said, the Colts added a lot of speed and competition to the roster. They may not have added any immediate starter with their 10 selections, but there is a lot of upside with the class. This is especially true when it comes to the linebacker corps and secondary.

For a reminder on how the draft unfolded for the Colts, here’s a reminder of which prospects they selected over the weekend:

Round 2 (No. 34) – CB Rock Ya-Sin, Temple
Round 2 (No. 49) – LB Ben Banogu, TCU
Round 2 (No. 59) – WR Parris Campbell, Ohio State
Round 3 (No. 89) – LB Bobby Okereke, Stanford
Round 4 (No. 109) – S Khari Willis, Michigan State
Round 5 (No. 144) – DB Marvell Tell, USC
Round 5 (No. 164) – LB E.J. Speed, Tarleton State
Round 6 (No. 199) – DE Gerri Green, Mississippi State
Round 7 (No. 240) – OT Jackson Barton, Utah
Round 7 (No. 246) – G Javon Patterson – Ole Miss

There is still a chance the Colts add to some positions of need with the signings of undrafted free agents, which we are tracking heavily until it is ultimately announced by the team.

With all that being said, how should the Colts be graded on their 2019 draft class? Let us know in the poll below!
