How will Sunderland start the season? Predict the Black Cats' first six League One games

As opening fixtures go, Sunderland's could have been a lot easier.

While we wait to see how Jack Ross will reshape his playing squad this summer, we now know the order in which the Black Cats will face their League One opponents.

The fixture computer has given Sunderland a tricky start to the campaign, with Ipswich, Portsmouth and Peterborough all in the opening month.

If Ross and Co can through August with a healthy points total then they will be well placed to kick on.

But on the flip side, a disappointing start could see them playing catch up from the beginning - although we all know that nothing will be decided by September.

With that in mind, we want to know how you think Sunderland will fare in the first six games.

Simply predict the results of all the League One games below to see the league table of where you think the Black Cats will be by the time September rolls round.

For Sunderland, that's the games at the Stadium of Light against Oxford United, Portsmouth and AFC Wimbledon, and the away games at Ipswich, Rochdale and Peterborough.

Predict the results and share your league table with us on social media @ChronicleSAFC on twitter.
