How will Chelsea line up against Sheffield United? Mason Mount to start despite training injury

Frank Lampard will hope to have Antonio Rudiger available in the coming weeks as he rebuilds his fitness following a meniscus problem.

The Chelsea defence has kept just one clean sheet in 11 games but Kurt Zouma is set to keep his place with Rudiger in line to play for the development squad on Friday.

Pedro suffered a hamstring injury during the warm-up and will miss Sheffield United's visit. In the Spaniard's absence, Lampard could opt to include Willian from the outset, although Mason Mount impressed when pushed into a wide-left position at Norwich.

N’Golo Kante was left out of Didier Deschamps’ latest France squad due to an ankle problem and having missed the win at Carrow Road, will also be unable to feature against Sheffield United.

Tammy Abraham will be disappointed to miss out on an England call-up but his brace against Norwich last weekend may see him keep his place ahead of Olivier Giroud in attack.
